Tchaikovsky Sounds Funny: Dame Edna: Best Actress or Best Actor or Both?

Is this where I put in key words such as sex, lesbians, vampires, Christopher Lloyd and others things to which this blog do not pertain, but by putting them here, I may get hits from all the Christoper Lloyd lesbian vampire fans (and you know who you are)? This is the primarily humorous and occasionally rambling writings of Leon Tchaikovsky, humor writer. Enjoy.

Dame Edna: Best Actress or Best Actor or Both?

I ran into a politician who stated he saw Dame Edna on Broadway. He told me how hilarious she was. In the midst of the conversation, I realized he did not know that Dame Edna is really a man, Barry Humphries. Which really shows how good the show must be: people are finding it funny without getting the main joke. (Of course, the real joke might be that voters elect a politician who can't tell a man from a woman. At least this isn't an issue facing too many legislative votes.)

Didn't the Queen notice he was a guy when she gave him the title Dame?
