Tchaikovsky Sounds Funny: Johnson Jokes

Is this where I put in key words such as sex, lesbians, vampires, Christopher Lloyd and others things to which this blog do not pertain, but by putting them here, I may get hits from all the Christoper Lloyd lesbian vampire fans (and you know who you are)? This is the primarily humorous and occasionally rambling writings of Leon Tchaikovsky, humor writer. Enjoy.

Johnson Jokes

I am back from the Lyndon Johnson Ranch. I was told two stories that people claim have never been published about Lyndon Johnson, so I will scoop the world and publish them here. Of course, this being three decades after Johnson's death, who knows if the stories are true.

Lyndon Johnson supposedly was unknowingly standing in a cow pie in mixed company one day when Lady Bird Johnson kept calling to him to draw his attention to his predicament. (How one stands in a cow pie and not notice I'm not certain, but that's for historians to examine.) Frustrated that Lyndon was not responding to her calls, Lady Bird finally yelled "Lyndon, you're melting."

The other story involved a conversation between Helmut Kohl and Lyndon Johnson. Kohl kidded Johnson upon seeing Johnson's home where he was born by stating he thought Johnson would have been born in a log cabin. Johnson responded by pointing out that he justs tells people he was born in a house because he was really born in a manger.
