More Taxing Problems

My phone continues ringing with people trying to fax tax information to the Revenue Department. As this is a non-essential line, the easiest solution is going to be to disconnect the line. I was hoping the Revenue Department would put a message forwarding people to the correct number, or at least send out corrections with the right number. But, as that requires someone over there to work, they are not interested in doing anything like that. Better to be a nuisance to the public than actually serve the public.

I am threatening to start answering the phone and telling people that the Revenue Department is running a new contest where random callers will be allowed tax forgiveness, and that they are lucky winners! Watch the Revenue Department people begin working then.
